CHET Academy was inspired by Chet, the founder's dog, who was named after the reindeer-in-training from The Santa Clause movie series.
Chet became a remarkably trained dog and built a deep bond with his owner through training. After facing a hereditary disease and years of surgeries, Chet's story became the foundation for a platform dedicated to helping owners better understand, communicate with, and train their dogs.
